Demonstrating Christ-like character begins in our own hearts and then manifests itself outwardly, including what comes out of our mouths, “for the mouth speaks what the heart is full of” (Lk. 6:45). For more, order the Christ-like Communication Guide for Church Leaders.
Christlikeness in All Leaders Do
As church leaders it’s our responsibility to steer the church toward Christ-like character so we demonstrate the heart of God in all we do. The Steering the Church Toward Christ-like Character Leadership Guide pulls from the following content on this site beginning at God’s Heart for the Church: Christ-like Character, but adds more. We should see Christlikeness exhibited in all the various leadership tasks and responsibilities as God exhorts church leaders to “be examples to the flock” (1 Pet. 5:1-3).
