Of Jesus, we read:<\/p>\n

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (Jn. 1:14)<\/em><\/p>\n

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (Jn. 1:17)<\/em><\/p>\n

What do churches with policies that stem from both grace and truth look like?<\/h2>\n

\"PolicyChurches guided by both grace and truth tend to have just enough policies to protect and reflect grace as well as truth … no more, no less. They will have\u00a0policies that promote truth in love (Eph. 4:15), because of grace. They will have\u00a0policies that help the Body line up with truth while building people up in His grace (Acts 20:32), hence providing for all that is good and true and enhancing lives and ministry in the process. Eventually these churches lose what could bind them and distract them, becoming more and more Christ-like in all they do<\/p>\n
