\"WWJD<\/p>\n

The use of the letters WWJD, “What Would Jesus Do?”, may have waned\u00a0but the concept still has relevance. In whatever we do, even in church safety, we should desire to showcase Jesus through Christ-like<\/a> decisions and actions.<\/p>\n

Obviously we cannot answer specifically what Jesus would do in today’s world regarding church safety but we can know a few things about what Jesus would do.<\/p>\n

  1. We know that He would exercise wisdom in whatever He did as He was wise (Lk. 2:52; Lk. 11:31).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. We know He would encourage His disciples to be wise in regard to their safety (Matt. 10:16).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. We know that He would not depend on the measures put in place in lieu of God. (Lk. 4:9-12)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Jesus would add a qualification to each of the above points which you’ll find in the Steering the Church Toward Christ-like Character Leadership Guide<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0Follow Jesus’ example in regard to these three points and the rest of your church safety measures should fall into place in ways that bring Christ-like balance and showcase Him.<\/p>\n
