\nBy gifting<\/a>, certain people in the Body will make generous and even sacrificial donations.<\/p>\n

God’s Standard for How Someone with the Spiritual Gift of Giving Operates<\/h2>\n

Generosity describes the person using this gift as God intends.<\/p>\n

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. … if it is giving, then give generously. (Rom. 12:6-8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Keep in mind that generosity is about more than the actual amount given. The person is generous in accordance with what they have. Remember what Jesus said about the widow who put in just “two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents” while rich people gave large amounts. He said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything – all she had to live on.” (Mk. 12:41-44)<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s be careful not to overlook people in the Body with the gift of giving who lack great means. Their small gift might inspire other people in the church more than those giving large amounts. God has been known to do much with the little people have had to offer.<\/p>\n

It also suggests who to get involved based on gifting when it comes to managing church finances or when we need consultation about financial matters. The handbook also provides help with who to recruit, or delegate to, on a number of other ministry tasks based on gifting.<\/p>\n
