\"Gospel-Oriented<\/p>\n

Think of how differently we’d live, and the changes it would make in our leadership, if we more and more allowed our time to be managed by the Gospel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Getting to Gospel-oriented time management will take some action steps on our part but also adjustments to our perspective that align with the message, standard, and power of the Gospel. The following tips can help us get there.<\/p>\n

Help for Attaining Gospel-oriented Time Management<\/h2>\n

Seek prayer from other believers on your behalf to prioritize your time in accord with the Gospel and pray likewise for others knowing that we are all in this together.<\/p>\n

Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, (Eph. 6:19)<\/p>\n

In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Phil. 1:4-6)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Accept that not everyone will understand or agree with how you prioritize your time. Don’t become discouraged by their comments or reactions.<\/p>\n

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 Cor. 1:18-31)<\/p>\n

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Cor. 4:3-4)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Trust God to use the unplanned, unexpected, undesired intrusions into your schedule as opportunities to be a light to those who don’t know Him and and encouragement to those who do know Him.<\/p>\n

As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you, and even though my illness (Gal. 4:13-14)<\/p>\n

Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear. (Phil. 1:12-14)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As a leader, don’t act like you are alone in this. Think in terms of being in this together with others. We can accomplish more in word and deed when we delegate or network as partners in the Gospel.<\/p>\n

because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, … It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God\u2019s grace with me. (Phil. 1:5-7)<\/p>\n

But you know that Timothy has proved himself, because as a son with his father he has served with me in the work of the gospel. (Phil. 2:22)<\/p>\n

We sent Timothy, who is our brother and co-worker in God’s service in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, (1 Thess. 3:2)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
