\"Jesus<\/p>\n

We’ve established that Jesus was not only full of grace and truth (Jn. 1:14) but also communicated about grace and truth<\/a>. We must also note that Jesus backed up His words about grace by being gracious. And, He not only spoke about Truth but also truthfully.<\/p>\n

Communicate Both Graciously AND Truthfully<\/h2>\n

Jesus communicated graciously, in ways that demonstrated grace.<\/p>\n

We see this in how He welcomed and ate with tax collectors and sinners (Matt. 9:10-13). We have a picture of His graciousness in the way He accepted worship from a woman considered a sinner when others condemned her (Lk. 7:36-50).<\/p>\n

Jesus communicated truthfully.<\/p>\n

Jesus told it as it was. He didn\u2019t try to candy coat or manipulate people into believing and becoming His disciples (i.e., Lk. 9:57-62). \u2014 \u201cHe committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.\u201d (1 Pet. 2:22)<\/p>\n
