Personal Data Collected, Why, How It’s Used, and How Long It’s Kept

  • Practicum Comments:

If you leave a comment on a post, your name is publicly listed with your comment but not your e-mail address. The e-mail address is only used in the event we need to clarify anything in your remarks or to let you know a reply has been posted to your comment. We collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Comments may be checked through an automated third-party spam detection service. You may opt-in to saving your name and email address in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain this data: The comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely.

  • Practicum Subscriptions:

If you subscribe to receive e-mail notice of new posts, your address will be used solely for that purpose and not sold or shared with anyone.

How long we retain this data: Your e-mail address will be retained and you will continue to receive e-mails about new posts until or unless you request to have your address removed.
