Spiritually Blessed Schedules

What is meant by a spiritually blessed schedule?

When describing our schedules as spiritually blessed, we might say they are schedules with which God is pleased and honored by and therefore blessed by Him. That could be correct because God does bless our faithfulness and stewardship of the time He has given us. But, I want to look at spiritually blessed schedules as those which reflect who we are in Christ Jesus and what we have in Him for He has

“blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ” (Eph. 1:3).

Let’s break this verse down to better understand what a spiritually blessed schedule would be.

blessed us

… schedules that are peace-filled not stress-filled, in which we find contentment not consternation and complaint about all we have to do

in the heavenly realms

… schedules that are guided by perspective that comes from understanding our position in Him giving us the ability to prioritize that which is eternally relevant not that which merely yields earthly, temporal gratification.

with every spiritual blessing

… schedules that are do-able because of the confidence of having everything we need to do what God put us here to do

in Christ

… schedules that demonstrate who we are in Christ, that showcase Him to those around us
