Many churches find themselves assessing their situation over and over seeking to know when it’s the right time to move forward and how. Let’s make sure we’re getting beyond merely accommodating physical realities to aiming for eternal results.
What to Factor into Assessments to Make Sure they Lead to Eternal Results
In the long run, what will most …
bring glory to God?
build up His people?
provide a good testimony?
advance His kingdom?
There are so many factors that go into answering those questions. We need to look at our resources, facilities, capabilities, etc. in light of current events but in the end, it comes down to relying on a God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond what we would think or imagine.
We have a God capable of working all things together for good. We have a God who specializes in meeting needs with minimal resources, who will use us to make a big eternal impact when we’re at our weakest point.
You’ll find the above content in the Steering the Church Toward God’s Power Leadership Guide along with three key elements about God that need to factor into doing assessments. This resource also looks at 24 other leadership tasks and responsibilities in light of God’s power.
